Underfloor Heating systems work by circulating warm water through special tubing embedded into the floor of your home. The heat radiates up through the floor, warming you, your furnishings and the air in the room. The warmth stays at low level where it is needed, and not up at the ceiling where it is easily lost through an opened door or window.
As the heat comes up through the floor, it is much more comfortable than heat that rises above head height, which is what happens with traditional radiators.
Underfloor Heating can give you up to 40% in energy saving compared to traditional heating systems.
